We are a small Boutique Personal Training Studio with a great friendly team and wonderful clients, many who have been with Jean-Claude (JC) for many years. We have high-quality equipment and a refreshing look, with lots of natural light our studio is a joy to work and exercise in.

About the role:

This is a temporary position whilst we are on holidays. You'll work from the 13th July to the 29th July in a subcontractor role. We have just celebrated our 1st birthday in this location and we envisage there may be a more permanent role in the near future.

You'll be working with our two other Trainers, as well working be in the studio at times by yourself. Your role would be to take 1 on 1 PT sessions for 30 mins, 45mins or 60min over various hours of the week and 60 min Group Circuit sessions on Monday & Wednesday mornings and evenings at 6am & 5pm.

We are looking for someone with a minimum 3-6 months Personal Training and Group Sessions experience, who enjoy working with older clients. The majority of our clients are in their late 40’s to 60’s and they are fit and active.

Key Responsibilities

  • Instruct active, fun small group circuit based sessions
  • Follow up all sign-ins and payments
  • Be professional and maintain integrity at all times
  • Keep records of your Personal Training Sessions
  • Open and Lock up as required

Requirements:

  • 3-6 months PT/Group Fitness experience
  • Ability to build great rapport
  • Enjoy working with older clients (40+)
  • Good repertoire of exercises as our clients enjoy variety
  • Good technical knowledge (essential)
  • Interest in Strength & Conditioning Principles (advantageous)

Qualifications:

  • Certificate III & IV in Fitness
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • ABN number
  • Current Fitness Registration (preferred)
