MEMBER SERVICES - RECEPTION AND CLIENT SERVICE

About you

You'll be a charismatic, happy person with a 'Can Do Attitude' that loves to learn and take initiative. With an approachable smile, you will be the face of our business and the first point of contact for members. You're confident and outgoing and feel equally comfortable meeting and greeting people, on the phone, communicating via email or talking to potential members face to face.

Skills and experience required

  • Available to work weekdays as well as Saturday and evening availability
  • Flexibility and ability to work weekends, evenings and public holidays as required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer and tablet literate skills
  • Organisation skills, dedication, and high motivation
  • A sense of humor and a desire to have fun while you work
  • A genuine interest in excellent customer service

Preferred

  • Previous experience in customer service of any kind
  • Experience with cash handling
  • Passion for fitness and fitness industry

Key duties/responsibilities

  • Ensure open and close procedures are followed
  • Keep gym generally tidy
  • Develop good rapport with members and Club users
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor
  • Ability to multi-task and manage member and guest concerns
  • Attend staff meetings
  • Keep up to date with changing procedures and events running within the club

The club is a 24/7 operation, and you will be expected to be available for flexible hours across shifts throughout the week and weekends.
