Based in Preston, we are looking for an energetic and passionate personal trainer and experienced strength coach to join our team.

This is a part-time, possibly full-time, contracted position starting from February (30-38 hours). There is the capacity to build close to a full-time schedule for the right applicant and the capacity to move to an ongoing contract by the end of the year as 23W continues to grow. 

Who are we?

23W is a female-only strength and conditioning community that specialises in strength-based training, as well as offering boxing, pilates and yoga. 

Our mission statement is simple; we empower women to thrive in a life full of wellness, wisdom and wonder.  

We're unique in that we specialise in strength-based training for women only, with a specific focus on body recomposition, periodised training, prenatal and postpartum exercise.

Women inside 23W are passionate about exercise, lifting weights, getting stronger and being part of our thriving Northern Suburbs community.

Successful candidate/s will need to be:

  • outgoing
  • confident in reviewing and correcting form
  • friendly and approachable
  • highly professional and an exceptional communicator
  • fast learners and willing to be mentored
  • experience working with clients as a personal trainer and/or strength coach
  • reliable and able to work Sunday, early mornings and afternoon (split shifts on some days)

We are looking for passionate personal trainers that are able to add value to our community.

Specific responsibilities include:

Personal trainers will need:

  • to be able to facilitate group and personal training sessions across the week.
  • attend weekly team meetings to discuss client adherence and ongoing mentorship from our head trainer.
  • attend in-house and external professional development programs as required.

Candidates should:

  • Have Certificate 4 in Fitness
  • Hold Level 2 First Aid/ CPR),
  • Hold personal indemnity insurance
  • Be confident in facilitating strength-based training to groups. 

It is favourable that candidates have experience in working with pre and post-natal women, group boxing and HIIT training also.
