About Genesis Health + Fitness Windsor:
Genesis Health + Fitness Windsor has been a part of the Windsor community for over 14 years and is one of North Brisbane’s premier health clubs. Locally owned and operated, our group includes Genesis Health + Fitness Lawnton and Windsor Clubs. Our Windsor club has recently undergone another upgrade launching the popular Reformer Pilates program as well as a new Cycle Studio. With 5 different group training studios, a large open-plan gym floor and a kids club creche; we are the Club for everyone.
The Opportunity:
As a Club Manager at our Genesis Health + Fitness Windsor club, you will be responsible for the operational success of your club. Your role will be to use your people leadership skills, sales and marketing flair, analytical capability, and management expertise to oversee all aspects of your club’s operations to create a thriving and growing Genesis Health + Fitness Club. You will be required to showcase your leading interpersonal, communication, and sales skills to drive a successful team known for delivering an exceptional member experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales budget for your club on a monthly and annual basis
- Conduct weekly 1:1 and team meetings with department leaders
- Recruitment, training and retention of team members
- Oversee our Coaching Zone and Reformer Pilates programs
- Weekly, monthly, and annual reports
- Meet your own sales target to contribute to the clubs overall monthly and annual targets
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Management and leadership experience in a high-volume environment, ideally within the fitness industry
- Minimum of 2 years experience managing a team in a sales environment
- Ability to accurately record and report key figures to senior management
- Ability to engage and inspire a diverse team across club operations
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- A passion for fitness and sales
