You will be embarking on this career journey as a Gym Manager and an essential part of the overall success of this established gym in Bondi Junction. This COVID created opportunity is based at our soon to reopen studio at Bondi Junction.

How you will impact and develop a progressive gym culture is by demonstrating your desire to drive and manage the day-to-day operations of the facility where member appreciation is the focus and results are achieved.  

Your passion for People and Culture will start by connecting with members and running the daily high-intensity group workouts, whilst maintaining this professional gym facility. Moreover, this role will lead into Managing and Mentoring trainers and ensuring a professional approach to coaching and developing their skills.

Your previous sales experience will translate into identifying and developing sales strategies in order to increase memberships via lead generation, brand promotion, social media networks and out-reach activities. You will be responsible for the roll-out & execution of the sales campaigns. 

The backend skillset of this role will develop and build on your ability to Manage and maintain administrative functions such as coordinating rosters, implementing daily training programs, weekly P&L reports, sales enquiries and conversions reports, customer satisfaction feedback, and social media pages. The Reporting-lines of the role will associate with a supportive and highly experienced group management team on a daily and weekly basis. 

What We Are Looking For:

Ideally, we would expect to receive applications from self-starters and Gym Managers with prior experience in leading sales teams and who have exceeded sales targets and established a strong level of member satisfaction.

You will have a talent for social media, recruiting and managing staff as well as an ability to engage with key stakeholders within the business. Your fitness experience will vary between a boxing and/ or functional strength training in a group fitness environment and have effective command over communication skill both written and verbal when dealing with members and internal stakeholders.

Your energetic persona and positive attitude will flourish while working in this fast-paced, highly diverse team environment. 

Minimum Applicant Criteria: 

  • Possess Cert III and IV in Fitness.
  • Current First Aid certificate.
  • Current Blue Card certificates.
