VFA Learning (Geelong Campus) is searching for a passionate hospitality educator to deliver friendly, fresh and fun training and education.

VFA Learning is a proven leader as an independent training organisation in Victoria.

This position is a sessional position and involves providing high-quality training and assessment to all students. In addition, the successful applicant will also display a high level of pastoral care to all students as well as possessing strong attention to detail for all administrative tasks.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver onsite Training and Assessment to hospitality School-Based Apprentices/Trainee’s (SBATS).
• Conduct, assess and record student assessments
• Provide a high level of student pastoral care.
• Be a self-sufficient, self-motivated Trainer and Assessor.
• Developing strong professional relationships with industry partners

Requirements:

• Minimum Certificate III in Hospitality
• Certificate IV Workplace Trainer and Assessor (TAE)
• Working with Children's check
• Current Senior First Aid - Not essential but desired
• Strong attention to detail
• Considerable hospitality industry experience specifically working as a barista, bar and service of drinks, functions service & RSA delivery.
• Ability to work autonomously but also enjoy being part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Training/educating experience - desired but not essential.
