About The Role

Make it yours. As the Club Manager you will oversee the whole operation and management of the club and overall responsibility for effectively managing all membership, fitness and operational functions within the gym. You will have the rewarding opportunity to bring your unique ideas to the plate in order to drive the club to unprecedented levels of success. 

You will recruit, train and develop a diverse group of high performing membership advisors while ensuring all team members deliver on UFC GYM's operational goals and values. As the head of the club, you will be responsible for all KPI’s and run the business on behalf of the Franchise Owner.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Sales Execution on all UFC Gym Key Metrics relating to Membership Sales, Private Coaching and Merchandise/apparel sales
  • Effective management of team and individual sales targets
  • Work with the National Operations Chief and Franchise Marketing team on all aspects of lead generation and club marketing
  • Lead the Guest/Team Member Experience to establish a fun, safe, healthy, and community-focused gym culture
  • Deliver high member satisfaction and achieves maximum profitability
  • Be a role model for member service behaviour 
  • Collect member feedback to identify training and development opportunities
  • Monitor gym appearance and ensure problems are resolved in a timely manner
  • Ensure cleanliness is a top priority as this is a top requirement for our customers
  • Ensure maximum retention of members and work on various programs to harbour retention, renewals, and minimise the number of cancellations

Skills and Experience

  • Experience working in a Sales Management or General Management position (Fitness Industry preferred)
  • A progressive management style
  • Experience leading a team of 5-10+ people
  • Complete understanding of all aspect of the membership sales process
  • Drive and passion to succeed and grow within a new role
  • Experience managing P&L and trend reports or demonstrated math analytical/ratio skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multi-task effectively and be a self-starter
  • Capacity to work as part of a team as well as independently

Qualifications

  • Must have completed a High School level certificate or equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree (desirable but not essential)
  • Current Police Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain)
