UFC Gyms is one of the fastest growing fitness organisations around the world and has a goal to reach 1000 clubs by 2021. We are now seeking an experienced Fitness Manager to lead our team of coaches and coordinate our club schedule at UFCGYM Penrith. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and passionate to learn about the UFC gym brand with a true understanding of what it would take to manage and run a successful coaching business within a UFC GYM.
This is a salary role, salary is negotiable based on experience.
About The Role:
The Fitness Manager at UFC Gym Penrith will be responsible for:
- Mentoring and recruiting personal trainers and skilled martial arts coaches within the club
- Assisting personal trainers with their individual businesses and helping them achieve maximum profitability
- Completing & maintaining appropriate employee paperwork
- Managing the timetable, monitoring class numbers & withdrawing and adding classes as appropriate
- Teaching a minimum of 10 classes per week
- Monitoring other classes and maintaining class quality
- Maintaining club equipment, identifying and organising equipment services
- Organising school programs for local schools
- Assist the membership advisors with outreach, participating in festivals and other UFC promotions
Fitness Manager Requirements:
- Minimum 12+ months experience either running your own PT business or working in a fitness management role.
- Experience in running group classes essential
- You will possess experience working with PT sub-contractors
- Certificate 3 & 4 in fitness
- Current 1st aid certificate
- Insurance
- Working with children check
